As part of the class, we programmed our first Lego creations and set them loose on a race. Unfortunately, the race did not go as planned. This was part of our instructor’s master plan though. That is all part of the process. If you look in part 4 of the Lesson Plan, you will see that the students are supposed to discuss how to make improvements on the hopper’s movement. This aligns with CS standard IC.SI.3.a Collaborate and consider diverse perspectives to improve digital artifacts.
